With a focus on urban settings, the program includes a nine-month school-based internship, professional portfolio development and cohort activities. Designed for candidates seeking licensure in secondary education. Prospective students must hold a bachelor's degree in relevant fields with above-average grades, demonstrate a commitment to working in an urban school environment and meet specific admission requirements, including proficiency in English and Mandarin for Chinese language teachers.

Develop a multidisciplinary education in urban studies focusing on areas such as community and neighborhood development, urban and public policy, non-profit management and international business/cultural differences. Critically interpret and understand the historical and contemporary visual world from diverse perspectives to enhance your creative skills and provide a new lens for societal analysis. The minor consists of 24 credit hours.

Women's and Gender Studies Minor
Women's and Gender Studies Minor

Gain a deeper understanding of the social construction of gender, sexuality and intersectional identities to foster critical thinking and awareness of gender-related issues in society. The minor consists of a minimum of 15 credit hours.
