Sexual assault is a persistent societal problem that impacts millions of people annually

In the U.S., the month of April is recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (or SAAM), a time when organizations, advocates, and survivors come together to raise awareness about sexual violence and promote prevention efforts.
