Cleveland State University to Host 2nd Annual Spring Open House Community invited to experience rejuvenated campus

CLEVELAND – Cleveland State University is throwing its doors open to host prospective and admitted students and parents, alumni and community members at its annual Spring Open House on Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m. until 4p.m. Visit www.csuohio.edu/openhouse to register and view a complete schedule of events.

CSU's new 140,000 square-foot Student Center will serve as a hub of OpenHouse activity featuring a campus fair with more than 50 representatives from academic programs, departments, student support services and campus activities. Visitors can also experience student-led tours of campus, tours of CSU's new apartment-style residence halls, and tour the new Arts Campus at PlayhouseSquare.

General information sessions scheduled throughout the day include opportunities to learn more about financial aid, talk to academic advisors, choose a major, meet current students and more. Each CSU college and the School of Nursing will welcome visitors and offer an array of opportunities to attend sample lectures, building tours and special presentations about new and existing academic programs.

Discounts will available for Student Center eateries, the Viking Outfitters bookstore and apparel, and at the Recreation Center Pro Shop. The Recreation Center will be open free of charge to the public, and is offering free child care for children ages 6-12.
