Ohio's TechCred reimburses ÖйúÌåÓý²ÊƱAPPÏÂÔØ£ºs to upskill its workforce through training programs completed in a year or less. 

Prepare your current and future employees with skills for Ohio¡¯s tech-infused economy. Relevant to any industry, TechCred training can have a positive impact on your business¡¯s bottom line.

Ohio¡¯s TechCred program allows ÖйúÌåÓý²ÊƱAPPÏÂÔØ£ºs to upskill current and future employees in technology-focused fields. Employers who submit successful applications can be reimbursed up to $2,000 per credential per employee and up to $30,000 per ÖйúÌåÓý²ÊƱAPPÏÂÔØ£º for each round of funding.

Most CSU certificates are in-demand and online, but ask us about our bespoke, on-site options.

TechCred Application Period:

• Jan. 2¨C31, 2024 | Due on the final day by 3 P.M.
• Mar. 1¨C29, 2024 | Due on the final day by 3 P.M.
• May 1¨C31, 2024 | Due on the final day by 3 P.M.
• July 1¨C31, 2024 | Due on the final day by 3 P.M.
• Sept. 2¨C30, 2024 | Due on the final day by 3 P.M.
• Nov. 1¨C29, 2024  | Due on the final day by 3 P.M.

The 3 P.M. application deadline is not flexible. Applications received after 3 P.M. on the final deadline date are automatically rejected.

Five steps to get started: TechCred Application Site

1. Create a TechCred account and apply for a Supplier ID

2. Apply for tuition reimbursement

3. Accept your grant

4. Submit status reports

5. Submit proof of credential for tuition reimbursement

When applying for TechCred, three identification numbers are required. These numbers are provided by the business applying. They include:

the Payee ID Number,

the Ohio Charter Number,

and the Federal Tax ID Number.

Reimbursement Request

Once an employee has successfully completed training and obtained the approved credential and the Grantee has paid for that training, a reimbursement request may be submitted to the Ohio Department of Development. The Grantee shall submit requests no more than once during each month of the grant period and no later than six weeks after the credential is obtained or from receiving an executed agreement.
