CSU's Living Learning Communities: Student Opportunity, Empowerment

Published on

Cleveland State University’s Living Learning Communities assist students in successfully navigating higher education, facilitating intentional communication among their peers with unique and diverse backgrounds. Students learn to support themselves, one another and to build inclusive communities around their educational journey.

Accountability, strengths-based practices, knowledge sharing and best practices allow students to broaden their worlds. Together, they develop abilities, leadership and engage in career exploration through wraparound services that help to ensure and fortify a quality student experience.

Improved access to student supports brings equitable educational opportunities, increased persistence and student retention rates—as well as producing future global leaders and ambassadors for access and opportunity.

But don’t just take our word for it, hear from CSU sophomore Martinique Jackson about her experience!
