LGBTQ+ Student Services at Cleveland Pride festival

LGBTQ+ Student Services is committed to enhancing the overall educational and social experience of the CSU community. We provide resources, support, and programming that promotes the academic and personal growth and development of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning (+) students and their allies, and work to create a more inclusive and welcoming campus for all.

  • LGBTQ+ Center
Our LGBTQ+ Center is run and staffed by student workers and provides a welcoming and affirming space for students.

  • Affirming Space Sessions
We offer Affirming Space sessions that prepare participants to work toward allyship and actively create and maintain an affirming and inclusive campus environment for all.

  • Vikes with Pride
Proud members & allies of the LGBTQ+ community are featured on our annual poster celebrating National Coming Out Day.

  • Advocacy & Education
LGBTQ+ Student Services advocates for inclusive policies at CSU. We educate campus partners on best practices to create a supportive campus for our LGBTQ+ community.

  • Lavender Graduation
Each spring, we celebrate the achievements of our LGBTQ+ grads. Graduates receive rainbow cords to wear on graduation day.
