Violence Prevention
Violence in any form is unacceptable. At CSU, safety and wellness is paramount. If you or someone you know is experiencing violence, you have options:

- Reach out to the CSU Counseling Center by calling 216.687.2277
- Connect with CARE via email at magnusacts@csuohio.edu
- The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) can offer support
- Health & Wellness Services are available on site should you need medical care
- Student Wellness offers training, resources, and Peer Educators
- CSU PD is available to discuss police options by calling 216.687.2020. You can also report violent activity through (216) 5BE-SAFE (523-7233)
There are many off-campus resources as well:
- Journey Center for Safety and Healing provides information and services for domestic violence, child abuse, and more. They have a 24-hour helpline 216.391.4357 (HELP)
- Frontline Service in Cleveland has resources to support individuals who have experienced violence as well as those who have witnessed or been exposed to violence. Their 24/7 crisis hotline is 216.623.6888 and they have a chat option
- RAINN is the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network. RAINN works to help survivors, educate the public, improve public policy, and offers training and consultation. They also have a 24-hour hotline at 800.656.4673 (HOPE) as well as a live chat
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers a wide variety of resources around violence prevention
- The US Department of Justice Violence Reduction Response Center also offers resources and toolkits.
